How does Service Advisor differ from VSDM?

Service Advisor is light-touch — quarterly calls, an annual refresh, email advisory. £45/mo or £499/yr. Built for small teams who want us in their corner, not running their service.

Virtual Service Delivery Manager is full ongoing service management — supplier oversight, monthly reviews, governance, ongoing improvement. £500/day with scope agreed after a Review. Built for growing businesses with the operational complexity to need it.

Can I get hands-on technical help via Service Advisor?

No — and we'd rather be honest about that than have you frustrated. Service Advisor is advisory: we help you decide, we don't do the doing. If you need someone to fix the thing, that's either your existing IT support or a Service Project with us.

What counts as "email advisory"? Is there a cap?

Quick questions, sense checks, "is this email a scam?", "does this contract clause look fair?", "should I be worried about X?" — anything that takes us 15 minutes to answer well. Same-day or next-day response.

What it isn't: long-form consultancy by email. If a question needs more than a quick answer, we'll say so and either pick it up at your next quarterly call or scope it as a Project. We don't try to drip-feed Project work through email and we don't charge surprise excess fees.

Do I need to do a Briefing first?

Strongly recommended, not strictly required. The Briefing means your consultant arrives with your situation already captured — quarterly calls land harder when we know what's actually going on. Without it, the first 1–2 calls do double duty as catch-up.

If you've worked with us recently and we know your business, you can skip straight to Service Advisor. If you're new, start with the Health Check.

Can I switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa) later?

Yes. Email us and we'll arrange it for the next billing cycle. We don't penalise either direction — annual saves you a small amount, monthly keeps things flexible, both are valid.

What happens if I cancel?

Email info@khitservices.co.uk. Monthly subscriptions stop at the end of the current billing month. Annual subscriptions continue until the end of the paid year and then stop — no auto-renewal trap.

Can my business move from Service Advisor to VSDM later?

Yes — and it's a natural step if your business outgrows the lighter-touch product. You'd typically do a Service Review first to scope what VSDM should cover, then switch over. Your Service Advisor subscription stops at the end of its current period; the Review fee is separate but the £295 Briefing credit (if applicable to your tier) still applies.

Are quarterly calls recorded?

Yes — sessions with a KHIT consultant are recorded as part of the engagement record. The recording lets your consultant focus on the conversation rather than scribbling notes, gives us accurate action capture for follow-up, and protects both sides if a question comes up later about what was agreed.

The detail:

  • Used internally for consultant notes and engagement follow-up only
  • Held only for the duration of your active engagement with KHITServices
  • Deleted when your engagement closes
  • Never shared externally without your explicit written consent
  • Subject to your full UK GDPR data rights — request a copy, request deletion, or ask us to stop recording at any point

Your consultant will reaffirm the recording at the start of every session. If you'd rather not be recorded, tell us — we'll stop the recording (we may take more written notes during the session as a result).
