Why two prices? How do you decide which one applies?

The Briefing is the same product at heart — a focused diagnostic session and a written brief you can act on. The work involved varies with the shape of your business, though. A small team with a tight technology footprint typically needs less consultant time than a growing business with multiple suppliers, departments, and processes to weigh up.

Your tier is determined from your Health Check answers — looking at sector, technology footprint, operational complexity, and scale together rather than any single number. We tell you the tier when you book, and you can override it.

What if I think you've put me in the wrong tier?

The Health Check determines your tier from a combination of inputs — sector, technology footprint, operational complexity, scale. If you think it's called it wrong, your results page lets you flag this for consultant review before any booking is finalised. Your consultant looks at the signal mix and either confirms the tier or adjusts it.

If, during the Briefing itself, it becomes clear we're working at the wrong scope, we'll flag it and adjust. The Briefing's job is to surface what's there, not push you up a tier.

Is the £295 Briefing fee really credited against any Review?

Yes — for growing businesses. If you book a Service Review after your Briefing, your full £295 Briefing fee is credited against the Review price, regardless of which Review tier applies. The credit is tied to your engagement and shows as a real reduction at checkout, not a footnote.

The credit doesn't expire arbitrarily, but it's tied to that specific engagement — so it doesn't stack across separate engagements months apart.

What's the difference between a Briefing and a Review?

Briefing is a focused 60-minute diagnostic with a written brief — it captures your situation and your top three-to-five priorities.

Review is the deeper, multi-module assessment for growing businesses — for cases where the Briefing identifies more surface area than a single session can cover. The Review goes through your service area by area, scoring and recommending across the whole picture.

For most small teams the Briefing is the right fit on its own. For growing businesses the Briefing is usually the gateway to the Review.

Do I have to do the Health Check first?

Yes. Every Briefing starts with the Health Check — it's free, takes about 10 minutes, and does two useful things: it tells our system which tier applies to you, and it means your consultant arrives at your Briefing already prepared. You spend less time explaining the basics, more time getting answers.

It's not a gate to keep you out — it's the first part of the service.

What if I just want a chat first?

Sometimes the answer is "yes, here's how it works." Sometimes it's "actually, you don't need us yet." Both are fine outcomes.

Will my Briefing be recorded?

Yes — sessions with a KHIT consultant are recorded as part of the engagement record. The recording lets your consultant focus on the conversation rather than scribbling notes, gives us accurate action capture for follow-up, and protects both sides if a question comes up later about what was agreed.

The detail:

  • Used internally for consultant notes and engagement follow-up only
  • Held only for the duration of your active engagement with KHITServices
  • Deleted when your engagement closes
  • Never shared externally without your explicit written consent
  • Subject to your full UK GDPR data rights — request a copy, request deletion, or ask us to stop recording at any point

Your consultant will reaffirm the recording at the start of every session. If you'd rather not be recorded, tell us — we'll stop the recording (we may take more written notes during the session as a result).
