Chat FAQ
If yours isn't here, bring it to the chat.
Is it really free?
Yes. No card required, no upsell to a paid call halfway through. The 30-minute chat exists because some people want a conversation before committing to a Health Check or a Briefing — and we'd rather give that time freely than have you not engage at all.
If a single chat genuinely solves your question, that's a fine outcome too.
Will the call be recorded?
Yes — sessions with a KHIT consultant are recorded as part of the engagement record. The recording lets your consultant focus on the conversation rather than scribbling notes, gives us accurate action capture for follow-up, and protects both sides if a question comes up later about what was agreed.
The detail:
- Used internally for consultant notes and engagement follow-up only
- Held only for the duration of your active engagement with KHITServices
- Deleted when your engagement closes
- Never shared externally without your explicit written consent
- Subject to your full UK GDPR data rights — request a copy, request deletion, or ask us to stop recording at any point
Your consultant will reaffirm the recording at the start of every session. If you'd rather not be recorded, tell us — we'll stop the recording (we may take more written notes during the session as a result).
What format is the call?
Microsoft Teams. You'll get a calendar invite with the join link straight after you confirm. No app install needed — Teams runs in any modern browser. If you'd prefer a phone call, just reply to the booking confirmation and we'll switch to a phone slot.
Can I bring colleagues?
Yes — bring whoever needs to be in the conversation. Two or three is fine; if it's more than that, the chat is probably better as a Briefing instead, where the structure copes better with multiple voices.
If you bring colleagues, please let them know in advance that the call will be recorded (same disclosure as you).
What if I just want to ask one quick question?
That's exactly what the slot's for. We'll give you a real answer rather than redirecting you to "let's set up a longer call." If 30 minutes isn't enough, we'll tell you what the right next step is. We won't drag a quick question into a long sales conversation.
What happens after the chat?
Whatever's right for you. Common outcomes:
- You decide a Health Check is the right next step → we send you the link
- You decide to book a Briefing directly → we walk you through how
- You decide we're not the right fit → we point you somewhere that might be
- You decide to think about it → we don't follow up unless you ask us to
No automatic enrolment, no marketing emails, no "circling back next quarter." The chat is the chat — what happens next is up to you.
Will you contact me again afterwards?
Only if we agreed to in the chat — for example, if you asked us to send a follow-up email with links, or you said "I'll think about it and come back to you next week." We don't add chat attendees to a marketing list. If you booked a chat, used it, and chose not to engage further — that's the end of it from our side.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Use the link in your Teams calendar invite — it lets you reschedule or cancel directly. No charge either way (it's free). If you keep needing to reschedule and the slots aren't working, email contact@khitservices.co.uk and we'll find a time that works.
